Last month in Paris, we had a chance to stop by the French concept shop, Merci. In 16,000 square feet, this three-story space has everything, from clothing (think Stella McCartney, Isabel Marant, Carven), books, furniture and home accessories, to multiple cafes, and a garden. All of this is housed in a beautiful 18th century building, rich with enviable architecture and several stunning skylights. The owners, Bernard and Marie-France Cohen, previously created Bonpoint, one of my favorite children’s brands. And wait, it gets even better — the Cohens donate 100% of the profits to a women’s charity in Madagascar.
